Layer chicken cage

The hens are usually placed in the layer chicken cage when they re around 18 weeks old and they are typically kept in the layer chicken cage until they reach 72 weeks of age. During this time the hens are fed a diet that is high in protein energy to support egg production. T he layer chicken cage are kept clean and the manure is collected and used as fertilizer or fuel. When the hen’s reach72weeks of age they are usually removed from the layer chicken cage and slaughtered
