Basic information

Early this year, Luoto delivered egg packing equipment to one of our customer. Not quite long, we completed the turnkey project of 100,000 layers for this customer poultry farm, good quality and service prompted customer to continue purchasing equipment from our company. Egg grading machine comes in different models and ratings from 4,000 pieces /hr, to 10,000 pieces /hr.  Including two popular types of large scale machines

Luoto egg grading line include egg grading, egg packaging, broken egg detection, internal blood spot detection, ultraviolet sterilization, weighing, cleaning and drying, printing, etc. During the grading and packaging process, our equipment ensures that each egg has an independent space, reducing the mutual contact between eggs, and reducing the chance of bacterial infection, the consumer will become the first person to touch the eggs

The frame structure adopts “cold rolled steel plate”, and the equipment is light weight, good strength, beautiful appearance, the parts consistent, and no difference, with good inter-changeability, the knife conveying, lever weighing principle, weighing accurate and easy to adjust and the eccentric sprocket and compensation sprocket transmission structure to improve efficiency

According to different egg grading project requirements, the egg grading machine can divide the eggs into 5 and 7 levels. The grading interval is customized according to customer needs. The egg grading machine has stainless steel and carbon, steel models. It has the functions of automatic transportation, candling, and grading. The supporting facilities include an egg washing machine, egg suction device, egg printer, and so on

How it functions

1. Candling

The process of candling helps to ensure the interior quality of eggs. A suitable light can be handmade by cutting a 1.25-inch diameter hole in the end of a coffee can. Insert a light bulb fixture through the lid, using a 40-watt bulb view the interior of the egg by holding the large end up to the hole cut in the bottom of the can. If blood spots are present, you will see them” Another way to candle is by taping a 3-inch length of empty bath tissue paper tube to a flashlight. The candling device is equipped in the middle of the conveyor belt. The light inspection device irradiates the eggs, so it can pick out unqualified eggs such as cracks, yellowing, and deformities

2. Grading

The small egg scales that most catalogues sell are not very accurate and are not for legal trade, if you do a lot of wholesaling, you need to get a commercial scale that will be inspected regularly for accuracy, a diet or kitchen scale is usually enough for people who sell small numbers directly to the consumer. The eggs enter the grading area through the conveyor belt the grading area uses a mechanical weighing system to grade eggs of different weights

3. Put the eggs manually

Put the eggs on the conveyor belt manually. You can put the eggs one by one, or use an egg sucker to quickly load the eggs

4. Collecting eggs

The graded eggs are dropped on the grading board, and the eggs of different grades are collected manually
