This layer farm project is established to raise about 1,000,000 layers with a land space of 30,000 square meters. Considering the limited land space, with our design and equipment, this project and has already build 4 layer houses, with a total capacity of 340,000 layers, after 4 years development. The 4 layer houses in this farm is equipped with our 5 rows 5 tiers, 6 rows 8 tiers, and 6 rows 9 tiers layer cage equipment

Layer chicken cage is made up of 2 parts the starter section, which has the medication tanks, and supplies water to the rest of the layer cages, and follower sections. You can add as many follower sections to a starter section as you wish (the length of the house will limit more follower layer cages. This kind of business has a very large investment which is included with housing for chickens, layer platforms, feeding, water, electricity, anti-fungal infection medicine

A layer chicken cage has a nipple drinking systems included in the cages - these allow the chickens to get water by pecking at a nipple. A trough runs along the length of the layer cage which makes feeding the hens very easy. The floors of layer chicken cages are sloped so that eggs roll down toward the troughs on one end of the cage, where the eggs are then carried away via conveyor belt. A feeding trough is located on the other side of the cage, and food is generally always available to the chickens. They must push their heads and necks through the wire mesh

 Features

1. The whole system includes exhaust fan, cooling pad, deflector, air-inlet windows

2. Exhaust fan and cooling pad can maintain optimum temperature range (13″C -26″C), best is 22C. Proper temperature can improve the feed conversion ratio, increase egg production

3. Above 26 degrees, it will increase the difficulty for chickens to dissipate heat, which will lead to stress response and increase mortality

4. Above 43″C, all the chickens will die. Exhaust fan and air-inlet windows make sure fresh air come in, and bring out the harmful gas like ammonia gas, ammonia gas which will cause respiratory disease

5. Deflectors change cool air direction, to prevent chickens from catching cold

Necessary things to consider

1. Housing and layer platforms designing

The most important factors that decide the age of chicken farming business is the housing shelter. If your housing of hens is not satisfactory then, it is not going to be a perfect business model. You must understand that housing depending on the number of chickens (a hen). For 1,000,000 chickens a total 7000x70000 (14000) square meter area is required. Every single platform should have a rectangular or square cage. This cage system is designed in a way that when chickens produce eggs the egg slide through and ready to collect in the cage bottom

2. Feeding and water

Chicken feed must full of protein, minerals, and proper fat according to their diet. An ordinary chicken eats at least 100g to 150g of chicken feed

3. Light

The main concept of this is to provide chickens with light and heat. In summer chickens do not need any kind of electric fans to expect you to have to make the housing cold and friendly for chickens. But in winters, you need to provide the proper heat and lighting for better growth and atmosphere

1. Automatic egg collection system and egg conveyor system

With large raising capacity, we equipped full automatic egg collection system and egg conveyor system, which helps harvest eggs high efficiently and low egg broken rate. The egg collecting system is the most versatile system in the market.  Additionally, it provides its elevator system with a higher collecting capacity by allowing the collection of eggs simultaneously from all tiers. Eggs are collected individually per tier, with a gear motor per tier, allowing a maximum flexibility to our customers’ daily egg collection. The Maximum transport distance could over one kilometre and the conveyor can be connected directly to the egg packing machine

2. Manure removal system

The manure removal system is specially developed for layer chicken cage farms. The 

Manure removal system directly transfers the chicken manure outside the chicken house and helps in the reduction of smell from the chicken house, it provides a clean and comfortable growing environment for the chicken, chicken to epidemic prevention effect to reduce the incidence of disease, while saving labour costs, save time and effort to improve the efficiency of breeding, this is the magic power of conveyor belt manure machine

3. Ventilation system

This system creates a stable temperature and enough ventilation for the chicken house. It helps in controlling the system and management of the growths of the chicken. All that is required to do is to ensure that you have a proper consideration of the type of environment needed, the corresponding data for the controlling system, and control of all the equipment and also ensure 24 hours real time monitoring on the poultry farm. For the closed chicken house, adopt cooling pads that can lower the house temperature
